Augusta is a city located in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of 2000, the population was 195,182. In 1996, the governments of the City of Augusta and Richmond County combined to form a single governing body known as Augusta-Richmond County. The consolidated city-county is today simply known as "Augusta, Georgia" and not by the consolidated name.

The area that comprises the city limits of Augusta (identified during the 2000 census as "the Augusta-Richmond County balance") includes almost all of Richmond County, except for the towns of Hephzibah and Blythe, which maintain governments separate from that of Augusta. Augusta is located on the Georgia/South Carolina border, about 150 miles east of Atlanta. It is the second largest city and second largest metropolitan area in the state. Augusta is the birthplace of the Southern Baptist denomination, and the location of Springfield Baptist Church, the oldest autonomous African-American Baptist church in the nation.

Matching your web design project's requirements with the right service provider may feel intimidating. When your field of expertise includes nothing related to computers or the Internet, defining what you need in a web design can feel burdensome.

Web Design Consultation As a Resource Providing a complimentary consultation is a fairly common practice among web site design companies at Augusta. This time is a good measure of a provider's "vibe", as well as a resource in defining your needs.

To get the most from a web design consultation, be upfront about the fact you seek information and guidance on project requirements. Web design professionals are accustomed to linking need with the appropriate technology or service. They can easily explain the process in layman's terms for you. If you are not provided with a satisfactory, understandable explanation, it is safe to say that provider may not be the best partner for your project.

Powerful Web Design Marketing :

Identifying the Web Design Service You Need Use the following guidelines: Outline what you know - You may have a clear vision of features you want included in your website, but no knowledge of the technology to drive them. This is fine. A good web designer will understand the functionality you describe, and let you know what is involved. Define your goals - Beyond features, think about what you want your site to accomplish for your business.

Goals such as expanding your customer base, branching into online sales, or supporting your brick and mortar operation can be translated by a web design company into specific services you require. List your resources - Define what parts of your web site project are already covered. Has hosting been arranged? Is there anyone in-house to manage the site once built? Is a marketing staff available to support the completed web design? By noting existing resources, your web design professional can more accurately gauge the breadth of your needs.
